St Mark's Weather Cancellation Policy

How We Determine Whether to Cancel Services, Classes or Meetings
The Protestant Episcopal Church of America
Cancellation of worship due to weather will always be posted on our home page at www.stmarkshighland.com

When a SNOW EMERGENCY for Howard County is posted here,
we WILL ALWAYS ADJUST the worship schedule for that Sunday, as follows:

1) When a snow emergency is declared
but the roads are NOT officially closed,
we will offer one worship service at 11 AM for those who can gather,
BUT
we will CANCEL all earlier worship services, Sunday School,
scheduled evening events, and evening meetings.

2) When the roads are officially closed,
(road closures are posted here)
we will cancel ALL services.

3) When the roads are dangerously icy and
the church parking lot has not yet been plowed,

we MIGHT cancel services.

So during winter storms,
please check our home page (www.stmarkshighland.com)
or call the church office for a voice mail announcement.

Remember:
We post an announcement ONLY if we intend to close.
ABSENSE of any closing announcement means we intend to keep the normal schedule.
