DreamBuilders If I Had a Hammer April 2008 Project Information
April 19 is Demolition Day from 9 am to 5 pm. We will work rain or shine. The only tools needed are a hammer and a pry bar (only if you have one). Adults and teens in 8th grade or older are welcome to participate.
On April 26-27 we will rebuild the ramp and decks. We will work from 9 am to 5pm both days. We will not work in the rain so a rain date will be part of the following weekend (don't want to impact the spaghetti dinner). Again, adults and teens in 8th grade or older are welcome. Tool list is below.
Lunch will be provided by volunteers each day. There is no cost. We will be selling teeshirts to those who participate for $10.
A liability waiver is attached. You may not work if you do not turn in a signed waiver on the workday. Parents must also sign the waiver for those teens under 18.
What to bring:
□ Wear work clothes
□ Work shoes (sneakers ok, open toed shoes/flip flops are not)
□ Tool belt
□ Tools
o Tape measure (25’ or more)
o carpenter pencil
o Hammer
□ Work gloves
□ Safety glasses
□ Reusable water bottle
□ Hat and sunscreen
