Join us for Advent
Advent is a time of waiting ... for the miracle of Jesus's birth. The miracle is this: that God became flesh and dwelt among us.
Join us as we continue to celebrate this season of hope and anticipation.
Prepare ye the way of the Lord ... make straight in the desert a highway for our God. |
Children’s Homily Time
Our 9 a.m. service now includes a children’s homily as an alternative for children younger than age 7. The children will follow the cross in procession from the sanctuary to the parish hall during the singing of “This is the Day,” which will take place before the reading of the Gospel. The children will have their own story/activity time and will process back into the sanctuary before the peace. Parents should feel free to process with their children. The children’s homily is an option, depending on parental choice, for those in first-grade or younger. Parents are free to keep their children in the main service for this time, as well.
Please Note: anyone of any age is always most welcome at any of our services.
